Hey, this was submitted back in 2009 by EGurt as Plazma Burst: FTP, I remember playing it all the time, but you forgot to mention that, so I assume this is plainly stolen...

Looks simple and nice, a brilliant idea and a good execution, except for one small thing i experienced, everytime the voice says something new, like getting a combo or the increased difficulty, it gets a minimum lag that's enough to ruin your chain, forcing to start over. Since it may just be my system's fault (though my pc is quite new and good), I won't consider it in the score, just wanted to let you know that. Good game!

I wouldn't say that the controls are the best ever seen in a game, but I didn't experience the lag Gramiscus is talking about, and my pc is a really weak motherf**ker, so I can tell you that you've done a nice job, it's pretty challenging to move in a straight line but it doesn't get impossible or frustrating, as far as I have played. My only complaint is about dimensions, if the wiew was zoomed out a little it would be easier to aim to the best route, but maybe that's just part of the challenge... The grapich itself too, a bit more of creativity and it would be super sweet!

... But aside from the gun illustration and the far background it didn't feel that steampunk, the robots are all the same so it's basically headshot them as fast as you can... And, for those not interested in ranking high, it didn't offer any great challenge, casual gamers are appealed by a great story, OR a new, fresh concept to play with, OR a great variety of upgradable stuff. But i'm sure you're well aware of that, so i'll just quit the whining, expand this idea or think up something innovative to rack up good scores, I'm giving a 2.5 'cos the programming is fine, it's the game itself that's lacking some... "magic powder", but there's potential in your hands, use it well.

Now, that's quite an interesting challenge, to flee as long as you can while your opponent constantly speeds up. In a really small place. I'm writing this review 'cos i need an anger-controlling break, i'm currently stuck with Carl due to a couple of features that makes me keep failing, being them Carl's double jump (that ain't occasional, as you state. At least for me, that happens all the times.) combined with the automatic jump command (instead of a blessed drop) you placed when falling from the higher ledge, sadisticly blended with an auto wall jump. Figure that out, he's rushing at me, i get to jump in time to barely slip under him, but carl is fast, i accidentally touch the wall while falling, WALL JUMP! and paf, crud fail is served. Now, I may just suck badly in this particular game, so I won't calculate anger in the star count, I was having fun and as soon as I close the review i'll try a little more, I'd like to find out who's scaring Patrick...
P.S. Smaller complaint, there's no FX mute button. I just hate the sound of fail xD

hehehe

Quite new!

Now that's something twisted! I wasn't sure about the idea at first, i mean it's ragdolls, they can't even stand up, how in hell can they fight? Pop, by flying around, that's obvious! The first match has been confusing, but once I got grip on the control it became quite easy to move, dodge and strike back with furious anger. I only felt a little uncomfortable with the limbs grabbing, being able to pick the head and start swinging like a whirlpool would have been funny ( but too easy, I can hear you sayin' that xD). Another minor issue IMO, the ogre looks bigger than every other character, hence he's got a little longer limbs, hence he's, like, overpowered in comparison. But then, il looks like you did it on purpose, so don't mind it too much.
Finally, with a bit of a story, some unlockable characters, and maybe some kind of difference between them ( an army veteran without legs, but really strong arms, for example) you would get something that will really beat the minutes outta your clock! So... expand this idea, it's good!

Feels like painting the White House...

..With a toothbrush. I mean, You start off really fast with waves from every direction while our puny little lazors are barely useful aganist front enemies (can't decide if that's due to the huge lag i experienced or really small hitboxes), I didn't see powerups of any kind to help keepin' enemies nuber low, so the fun fell down to just dodge them the best i could, until the boss showed up, killing me so quietly with his boomerang-effect laser I didn't even notice i was taking damage, 'till i went kaboom. I checked the menu for quality settings (and resorted to right clicking the low quality, with no evident effects), dimmed lights, looked for further instructions, but I failed in each action, so i just rage-quitted.
Now, after quite some time spent with my pc, I learned not to judge too hard the games when i can't play them due to heavy lag, I know it's not your fault (well... not entirely xD), but putting that aside i couldn't find, let's say, nothing too new or interesting in terms of gaming, just good graphics and stuff...
So, to shut me up: some lag-control settings will help uor rusty pc to run properly, any kind of evolution system (power ups, leveling up, buying, whatever does) would give some crunch to the blasting, and.... i think i'm done.
I feel somewhat sorry for a mere 6, i look forward to give you more on your next submission!

BryceSummer responds:

I appreciate your opinion! I'll see what I can do in the way of quality settings, no guarantees though... I'm not sure if there's much I could add for optimization on slower machines.

Now that's strange

It looks like this happened to me only, but i can't manage to even start level 5 since no one of the characters is able to jump on the ledges right after pulling the starting blue lever, so turtle can fit in the tunnel only to be blocked forever by the green gate... How could this be called a bug? it looks like an error to me, but again nobody else complainted on such an issue, so this must be regarding only my Firefox?
By the way i was liking it (even if I must agree with XGravity, controlling and switching them properly was somehow confusing), so i will rate just like i played it 'till the end..

Natpat responds:

That's really quite strange. It's an issue affecting quite a few people, and I have no idea what's causing it.

Hmmmmm....

So-it looks really great, I had lots of fun on Bowmaster and I thought this would have been at least equal if not greater, and I wouldn't be wrong if it wasn't for the lag I experienced-wich made even the first level a royal pain to beat, try and guess what happened when the flying monsters entered the arena... switching to low quality didn't help a tiny bit. I can't anyway give low score just for this, i know I could just switch to the easy aiming mode, but then the fun would just go bury itself... I'll try again the remote day i'll upgrade my rusty pc

Nice!

Again, It really similar to the (imo) superb Boomshine, but the moving "asplosions" made it still different in some way, then good! Btw, does this have any reference to Hamster? "Let's find firewerks to asplode! YAYY!!!"

Just your average NG consumer who missed the train on actually making something out of the Internet and now regrets the past while serving drinks and enduring endless customers requests
